Buchenwald Tiger

In May 1945 the musicians hastily designed a logo for their newly founded orchestra. On a blue-white striped background a red triangle with the letter 'P', the sign of Polish political prisoners were made to wear on their uniforms in the concentration camp. But next to this was the strangest part of the emblem:

A yellow and black tiger poised to pounce.
